Whittakers Chocolate Adertisment!

 We were learning to make a Imovie/Advertisment, our Advertisment was about Whittakers Chocolate I did the Advertisment with Jayda, Isabel and Milah! We learnt how to make an iMovie by videoing it on the ipad then once we were done we went to go and edit it we added music to the start and end we also added an tittle at the start of the Advertisment then we added at the end of the Advertisment we added who had made the Advertisment witch was Jayda, Bella, Isabel and Milah.

We found it easy to work together and show Manakitagai towards our Advertisment, We also found it easy to eat the chocolate and also coming up with what New Zealand item we would use for our Advertisment.

We found it hard to come with what we were going to do in our Advertisment and who was going to sing the jingle but then we came with that we were all going to sing the jingle.

We really enjoyed making our Advertisment and eating the chocolate!

I showed Kaikorero by sharing my ideas to others by making my comic and helping others with their learning and making there comix.

I showed Kairangahau by researching question and asking question of my teacher and my friends to find out the answer that I needed.

I showed Kaiwhakarite by finishing my learning on time and not talking to my friends as much as I do. 

I really enjoyed using Comix because it was nice and easy to use.

Then and Now

 

• During this week we asked Mrs Leggett about how her childhood and what it was like and how it felt and this was one of the questions I asked her " If you could go back in the past would you?"
• I asked some question to Mrs Leggett about how she got to school and how she got back home.
•  I asked Mrs Leggett how it was different  and how it felt when she went to school.
• I chose the right source for the information needed by listening carefully and writing down the information I needed which is my learning asset of kairangaha, being a researcher.
• I stayed organised by getting on with my learning and not talking to my friends and that shows I am a self manager.
• I enjoyed doing the writing and adding in the pictures because I really enjoyed searching for the images to go with my ideas and help my reader understand what I wanted them to know.

Life in Aotearoa New Zealand

We were learning about Life In Aotearoa New Zealand. We were learning how to make an animal that is fake. We had to write our animals behaviors and what they eat ETC. We also had to name our animal and my ones name is the "COG" the C is from the C in Cat and the OG is the last to letters from Dog.

I found it easy to make my animals name I also found it easy to write the last paragraph. I also found it easy to make my animal it was also easy to choose the colors for my animal the tail was easy to make as well.

I found it hard to the first two paragraphs because you had describe how your animal look and its habitat and I'm not very good at describing. I also found it hard to make my animals eye because the black puple because it on going at the back of white bit.

I really enjoyed making my animal and choosing the colors. I also really enjoyed  writing my last paragraph. I also really enjoyed doing this with my friends.

Next time I need to work a little bit faster. Next time I need to not talk so much to my friends even though I really enjoyed doing it with my friends.

 

Change poem

 

We were learning about "CHANGE". Change is when you grow taller or you earn different wages. We had to write down what we think about Change on different peices of paper that said " Change is friendships, Change is money and Change is buildings etc" We also had to use words and sentence that made sense.

I found it easy to  write the poem on google slides. I also found it easy to find the right sentences that suit the word "change". I had also found it easy to right down the sentence. I had also found it easy to  choose the background and font.

 I found it hard to think of the colours for my font but at the end I had found the right colours. I also found it hard to chose out of black or white for the colours of my font.

I really enjoyed righting down the sentence. I also really enjoyed making my background but I also found it hard. I also really enjoyed making my Change poem.

Next time I need to work a little bit more faster. Next time I also need to had more detail to my work. My sunflower.

 

I was learning how much water does a sunflower need.

I really enjoyed doing this because I really like how sunflowers look like and because they are really pretty.

I found it challenging to find the facts about sunflowers.

Next time I need find some better facts.

I was learning to make a powtoon on my favourite book.  I really enjoyed doing this because I love making powtoons. I found it hard to pick my book because I love all books.

Next time I will add some more slides.

Hula hoop netball

 

I was learning to make up a game that our class room would play. I really enjoyed doing this because I got to put two games that I really enjoy doing. I found it hard to make up the game because I don't really play netball and because I don't really hula hoop but I still Love doing them. next time I find some better things to write on my slides.

The BFG

 

I was learning about the BFG. I really enjoyed doing this because we have been reading it at school and for reading we got to chose a out of four things and one of them was the BFG. I found it hard to do the photos because there was not that much photos of the BFG. Next time I need to try make my slides a little bit more better.

My maths

 

I was learning how to work out some fractions. I really enjoyed doing this because I got to do some maths today and because maths is one of my favorite things to do at school. I found it hard to do the fractions because they were a little bit hard. Next time I hope I'm better at doing my fractions.

MY POWTOON

 

I was learning to make a powtoon. I really enjoyed doing this because I got to use a new app. I found it hard to find the characters because there were some that we could not use because you will have to pay for them. Next time I need to make my Powtoon a little bit more shorter.

Fridge Comment

We were learning to make a fridge blog comment. First we wrote what school we go to and our name.

Then we chose some thing that we would write what we would say and what was good about it what they posted on there blog. And the little freezer was a question. I really enjoyed doing this because we just had to write a small blog comment. I found it hard to do it at first but then I got the used to it. Next time I need to find the blank boxes  to write in.

 

I was learning all of the facts about about Tiktok like Tiktok songs and dances I enjoyed doing this because I got to learn about tiktok even tho I have it. I found it hard to research some things. Next time I will research more faster.

I was learning to write and draw the thing we did in lockdown.

My learning show's that that i am not good at drawing but then I am.

I enjoyed to to do this with my friends because I got to see what they did in lockdown.

I found it hard to do the dog because I did not have the colours that I needed.

Next time I need to try more harded

My koala

We were learning how to draw a koala in a tree. I enjoyed doing the  painting because Miss G told us   to paint with  the tip of the paint brush to be up to the roof.I found it hard to do tree because I had to do the koala first and then the tree.Next time I need to do the koala more faster soI have more time to paint.

we have been learning to use screencastify. I had found it hard to learn how to use screencastify because it was a new thing to use. I had found it easy to make the slides and put the photos on it.
I had really enjoyed learning some thing new.

My Extinct collage Animal.

 

We were learning about is that I was how to make a collage on a chrome book  it was a little bit hard but then I got used to it .I really enjoed it because it took some time but when I was done I was really happy about my self.We had to use a lot of texture and a lot of time, work, fun.I really loved doing this Collage.

We were learning about what it would be like if we were a tree in fall and winter I found it hard to take the photo and put it in the shape that it is in now. I did found it easy to do the writing Next time I need to do it more faster then I did. I really enjoyed this because we did it on a chrome book and I did not have to do it in my writing book.

we have been learning how to do Infercing.I found it easy to do all the writeing.
